What Will You Wear This Halloween?

Last weekend I went shopping to look for a Halloween costume and was shocked to see how ridiculous costumes have become. I know Halloween is usually an excuse for girls to dress in sexy, slutty outfits but most of these costumes just looked hilarious!  I couldn't resist taking some pictures of some that I saw.

Who the hell would want to be a sexy elephant! I'm sorry but this is NOT hott, if you want to be an elephant for Halloween that's great but PLEASE don't try to be a sexy one. 

Oh and don't worry, it gets even better! If the sexy elephant isn't the animal for you, maybe a shark is.

This might possibly be the most disappointing costume I have ever seen. If I didn't know any better I would think that this poor young girl was dressing up as a killer sperm. Who needs a full body costume anyways, this shark mask will go with any dress.

If none of these costumes appeal to you then there's always the traditional Hot Chef-type costumes. Most of these costumes are way over priced, but they are ready made and have details that are difficult to make with home-made costumes (especially if you can't sew).

Needless to say, after searching for a costume only to find ones like these, I've decided to take the home-made route this year. I bought a masquerade mask and put on a black lace dress with some heels and was ready to go.  

The home-made costume is not only a heck of a lot cheaper, but it gives you a say in what YOU want YOUR costume to look like.
