Hi I’m Samara, a certified personal trainer at Altea Active with a passion for helping others unlock strength, confidence and empowerment through movement.

My fitness journey began at a young age in combat sports, including mixed martial arts, freestyle wrestling and amateur boxing. I earned four provincial boxing titles, five provincial wrestling titles and a national silver medal.

As an adult, I served in the Canadian Armed Forces military reserves with Fort Garry Horse, where I developed resilience, focus and discipline — qualities I bring to every training session.

Later, I discovered pole fitness and quickly fell in love with its mix of athleticism, creativity and flexibility. I’ve competed in national pole competitions, performed at events and festivals, and continue as both a student and instructor at VogueFit.

I believe movement is medicine, and consistency is the key to feeling strong, energized and empowered in your body. Whether you’re training for confidence, strength, flexibility or stress relief, I’ll meet you where you are. My approach is supportive, uplifting and designed to help you feel fierce in your own skin.
